Salt Lick BBQ is located in Driftwood Texas. This is also very close to Austin. It was founded in Driftwood in 1969. They serve BBQ. They serve many different types of meat, vegetables, sauces and bread and other food. They allow you to order food to go and eat out side, you can just be served outside, or you can eat inside and be served also. They serve many types of soft drinks, lemonade, or iced tea. They do have an area where you can buy your own beer. The entire facility is B.Y.O.B. so you shouldn't need to buy your own. Annually their is a Friend Foundation banquet. This foundation supports elderly people in the area of Dripping Springs. Those people who can't work, who can't get food for themselves. Salt Lick holds the fundraiser but they also donate food to the people who are being supported by this fundraiser.
